Introduction:

Ben Seary is Creative Director that builds brands by placing them in culture.

Overview:

I have spent over 14 years in the creative industry working with some of the most influential brands in the world.

At Amplify I was an integral part of the team that built the content department and established Amplify as a creative agency for clients such as Dr. Martens, Google, Pinterest and Netflix

As creative director at Just So, I was part of the team that drove the transition of the business from production company to creative agency; building the creative department from the ground up and securing some of the biggest clients in the agency’s history. My insight and passion for great work has guided the creative output, growing both the reputation of Just So and that of the clients it works with. 

I oversaw all branded creative output from Just So and worked in close collaboration with art directors, designers, writers, digital creatives, photographers, producers, strategists and directors to deliver a range of projects.

I was also a founding partner of The Acey, an ethical women’s fashion brand and founded a podcast focusing on sustainability and ethics in business.

My aim is to build brands that people care about, enable them to act with integrity and have a positive impact on the world around us. My work questions the status quo, is conducted with care and aligns with change makers.

 

Ambition:

1. Build brands that people care about, act with integrity and do good in the world.
2. Create work people genuinely want to spend time with and adds value to their lives.
3. Work with people who question the status quo, care, see opportunity everywhere and have fun doing it.

 

Background:

With an unconventional starting point in design, Ben has experienced the creative industry from many perspectives contributing to his unique approach to, and passion for, using creativity to build brands. Before taking on the Creative Director role at Just So, Ben worked in a freelance capacity with some of the best studios in London. From Creative at Anyways, Realise Creative and Four23 to Creative Designer at Campaign London and Burberry and Graphic Designer at Pentagram and Browns. Prior to this Ben also set up and ran a record label and internet TV channel.
